We are not a funeral home, cremation service, cemetery, grief counselor, estate attorney, florist, or any other service provider listed on this site. We do not prepare, transport, or handle human remains. We do not provide grief counseling, legal advice, financial advice, or medical advice.

All funeral homes, cremation services, and vendors listed on this platform are independent third-party businesses. Farewell Finder makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any listed provider or their services.

Farewell Finder earns a referral fee from providers when a confirmed booking is made through this platform. This fee is paid entirely by the provider — never by the family. The referral fee does not affect the price you pay the provider. Farewell Finder's recommendations are not influenced by referral fee amounts. Providers do not pay to appear in search results — listings are based on verified status, ratings, and geographic relevance.

This disclosure is made in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255).

Under the FTC Funeral Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 453), funeral providers are required to give you an itemized General Price List before you agree to any service. You have the right to choose only the goods and services you want. Farewell Finder requires all listed US funeral providers to comply with the FTC Funeral Rule as a condition of listing.

Farewell Finder itself is a referral intermediary and is not directly subject to the Funeral Rule, but we actively promote and enforce consumer rights through our Provider Agreement.

For services provided in Mexico, all listed providers are required to comply with the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor (LFPC) and PROFECO regulations. Families have the right to receive a written itemized quote before agreeing to any service. Farewell Finder is a referral intermediary operating in good faith — disputes regarding services provided in Mexico must be resolved directly with the provider and PROFECO (800 468 8722).

Farewell Finder coordinates introductions to licensed cross-border repatriation specialists only. We do not hold, transport, or take custody of human remains at any time. All physical transport, permits (Transit Permit / Permiso de Traslado), documentation (apostilled death certificate, embalming certificate), and consulate notifications are handled exclusively by the licensed specialist providers. Families are advised to work directly with their country's consulate for official repatriation assistance. Timelines and costs stated on this platform are estimates only.

The grief support resources, counselor referrals, and hotline numbers provided on this platform are for informational purposes only. Farewell Finder is not a licensed mental health provider. We do not provide psychological, psychiatric, or clinical counseling services. Referrals to grief counselors are to independent licensed professionals. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Farewell Finder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from: (a) the services provided or not provided by any listed third-party provider; (b) inaccuracies in provider information; (c) any delay, failure, or interruption of services; or (d) reliance on any information provided on this platform. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any provider is to work directly with that provider and, if needed, report them to the appropriate regulatory body (FTC in the US, PROFECO in Mexico).

Farewell Finder's maximum liability to you shall not exceed the referral fee earned on your specific booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Farewell Finder LLC. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable federal or state law.

These terms are effective as of January 1, 2025. Farewell Finder LLC is incorporated in the State of Texas, United States.
